Dear Year 12 students and parents/guardians,

Following today’s confirmation that the lockdown has been extended, the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) have advised that they are meeting and planning for the first HSC oral language examinations scheduled for 31 July.  When thinking specifically about St Catherine’s students, the language oral examination scheduled for this day is French Continuers. 

NESA is aiming to publish an update mid next week about language examinations and other practical examinations.  Once the release of this information has taken place, I will communicate this to you.

I am sorry this update does not provide you with more certainty about the scheduling of the HSC practical examinations but please be assured that at the heart of NESA’s decisions is what is best for students.
